Vividh Bharati Introduces new FM service in Chennai

Former Olympic Silver medallist and current minister of State (MoS) for information and broadcasting (I&B) Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore officially launches new FM service of Vividh Bharati for Chennai. He said that this FM service will make sure that the entire city is perfectly covered, and almost all the Smartphones and gadgets have the full capacity to receive the FM waves on the go. Vividh Bharati started its operation in Chennai in 1957 and since then it was a huge success entity in its market.

Mr. Rathore said that the Modi Government is keen to expand the radio coverage nationwide as it is one of the main agendas of the central government. The launch of new FM Service of Vividh Bharati in Chennai may work as a catalyst in this matter which might eventually help the city to grow exponentially in upcoming days.
Here is small excerpt from what the minister said at the occasion while talking with the press at the event. He said,
“In Chennai, Vividh Bharati has eight hours of local programming for people who like to listen to shows in their own language. The introduction of FM services will ensure a wider coverage in the city. In 11 months, we will hopefully improve the capability of the transmitter. In two-and-a-half years, we will be able to cover 65 per cent of the country with FM.”
It seems that I&B ministry is actually focussing on digitization which is the right way now. The ministry will be actively using all kind of Medias including likes of Facebook, Twitter to share its plans, agendas etc nationwide. We hope the “Make In India” plan grows gradually with each passing days and our country becomes one of the superpowers in the world slowly but steadily.
