Shraddha Kapoor to Play Lead Role in 'Rock On 2'

Rock On (2008) was a musical drama based on Rock music. This youth-centred movie was directed by Abhishek Kapoor and acted and produced by multi-talented Farhan Akhtar. This film was the debut Bollywood movie of Prachi Desai and Farhan Akhtar. Now the good news is the makers of this 2008 film are planning to make an official sequel of this film named as “Rock On 2” and to play the lead role they have finalized the diva Shraddha Kapoor.

Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli will reprise their respected roles in the sequel “Rock On 2”, while the beautiful Shraddha Kapoor will act in a very crucial role in the film. Ritesh Sidhwani, the producer of this film tweeted to make an official announcement of Shraddha’s entry in the sequel of the hit musical drama.

There was a rumour that Prachi Desai won’t play an important role in the film, rather she was offered a small guest appearance kind of role in “Rock On 2”. But the producer Ritesh Sidhwani confirmed on Twitter that Prachi Desai will be an integral part in the 2^nd instalment of the film, and it would not be a guest appearance.
