The first look of Anushka Sharma in Bombay Velvet has released. This PK actress is looking so enchantingly beautiful in her 50’s retro look. The role of an embellished singer and the love interest of Johnny Balraj, played by Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka is all set to shed her Delhi girl and reporter Jagat Janani avatar.

'Bombay Velvet' is taken from Gyan Prakash's book 'Mumbai Fables'. Directoe Anurag Kashyap was roused to make such a film in the wake of perusing L.a. Quartet, an arrangement of four wrongdoing fiction books by James Ellroy, that took place in the late 1940s through the late 1950s in Los Angeles.

The story of the film revolves round the life of Johnny Balraj, played by Ranbir Kapoor and Rosie Norinha by Anushka. Another attraction of the film is Karan Johar who is going to make his first full-fledged acting debut here. It is said that he will be seen in an negative character.
