Nikhil Advani's Hero remake to release on 3rd july

Hero, the famous 1983 film is all set for a remake. Bollywood beginners Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty will start their Bollywood acting career with Salman Khan's first home production Hero and the film is slated to come to theatre on July 3.

The director of this remake Nikhil Advani is too excited about the new release.

The film that gave our own “jaggu bhai” Jacky Shroff the instant fame and made him the superstar of bollywood overnight.This Subhash Ghai love story, crossed Rs 12,50,00,000 in its box office collection.This not the first time the famous film Hero is being remaked. The film has been remaked in Telugu and Kannada in the 80’s.

The original film was enriched with soulful tracks specially the “lambi judaai” "Pyar Karne Wale Kabhi Darte Nahi" and "Tu Mera Hero" were big hits nationwide. So the tracks of the upcoming release will definitely be under magnifying glass.

Sooraj Pancholi, the protagonist of the film is already in news for his involvement in Jiya Khan’s suicide case. Salman Khan as a good family friend supported him in his bad days and now he is promoting him in his home production. No doubt he is a friend of friends.

Inspite of Amitabh’s dominance in silver screen Subhash Ghai brought fresh faces and new plot line in the film that was declared a super hit and the young generation had gone gaga over the film. Now it will be a challenge for the director of the remake Nikhil Advani to bring back the magic again on the silver screen.
