Ricky
Kej, has won 57th
Grammy award 2015 for his album Wind of Samsara. This is the honour that he
has gotten the award as an Indian. He grouped up with a South African singer Wouter
Kellerman for making the album of Wind of Samsara.
They
have given a sense of peace and prosperity through their songs. All the songs
of Wind of
Samsara, were purely tuned in west African note.
Ricky
Kej said,
Wind
of Samsara
has been created to blend the calmness and evergreen spirit of Africa with the
modern urban cultures. I have been very excited since I was nominated for the Grammy
and finally got it in hand. Thanks to Kellerman and other team members associated
with Wind of
Samsara.
Another
Indian,
Neela
Vaswani has won the Grammy in the category of Best Children’s album category
form her excellent voice representation in I am Malala: How One Girl Stood Up For Education and
Changed the World album. Neela
Vaswani basically tuned in the lines of the book of Malala Yusufzai.
Apart
from them, Pandit Ravisankar’s daughter Anushka Shankar was also nominated for her
album Traces
to you but finally lost to the Angelique Kidjo’s album the Eve.
