Sonam Kapoor Admitted in a Mumbai Hospital for Swine Flu Treatment

Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor is having tough times fighting against Swine Flu. The fashion queen has been taken to Mumbai and admitted in the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital there for Swine Flu treatment. She was flown to Mumbai via an air-ambulance from a private hospital at Rajkot.

Dr. Kamal Parekh, the respected Medical Director of the hospital, informed to PTI, 
“Sonam Kapoor, who was being treated at the Sterling hospital for swine flu infection has been taken to Mumbai today by an air-ambulance.”
Yesterday Sonam Kapoor was admitted in the hospital when she was suffering from Cold, Cough and Mild Fever. After that Swine Flu test was conducted on her by the doctors, and later the test resulted in positive.

Her mother Sunita Kapoor flew to Rajkot to stay by her side and she took the responsibly to move her to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai by an Air-Ambulance. Sonam Kapoor was actually shooting for her upcoming film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ under Rajshri Production.

Salman Khan is the main lead of this film, and ace director Sooraj Barjatya is directing it. Both of them were shooting near Rajkot (Gondal) for last seven days. The actress Sonam Kapoor was there at Gondal 3 days back, but she had to move back to Mumbai for treatment as she was suffering from Cough.

Later she again resumed shooting yesterday but had to be admitted in the private hospital for uneasy health consequences. Its worth to be mentioned here that she was earlier admitted to Kokilaben Ambani hospital in Mumbai for the treatment of a respiratory infection.


Sonam Kapoor has acted in many Bollywood movies like “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag”, “Delhi-6”, “Khoobsurat”, “Dolly Ki Doli”, “Raanjhanaa” and a few more.
