Abhishek Kapoor Filed Case Against Rock On 2

Abhishek Kapoor the director of the film “Rock On” (released in 2008) has filed a case against the upcoming sequel of his directorial debut “Rock On 2” as Abhishek claimed that he was not credited for the script of the sequel by the production house Excel Entertainment. Abhishek Kapoor wants to ban the production house from producing the movie Rock On 2.

The director claims that he was also working on the script of Rock On sequel with Pubali Chaudhuri since September 2011 but Excel Entertainment is crediting Pubali. He also appeals to halt the release of the film and ongoing shooting of it. Abhishek tried to sort out the situation before going to the Bombay High Court but Pubali Chaudhuri have ignored all the calls and meetings of him, Abhishek also added. Generally, all the attempts to solve the issue went in vain as Pubali herself got registered to the Writer’s association of the movie.

Chaudhuri started discussing the story of “Rock On 2” with Abhishek long ago in October and Excel Entertainment also considered him as the director of the sequel but in the present time the production house is refusing to give any credit.

Now, Excel is claiming that they appointed Pubali only to write the screenplay and the script of it, they also came with some allegation against Abhishek as per report.
