Bajirao Mastani: Deepika Padukone will be Doing Action Scene Wearing 20 KG Vest

When it’s about heavy armour or ghagra, it’s always Deepika Padukone. Now the gorgeous actress of b-town is going to put on 20 kg of vest in the film “Bajirao Mastani”. The upcoming Bollywood movie of Sanjay Leela Bhansali once again to bring the pair of ‘Ram Leela’ together, Deepika Padukone and  Ranveer Singh. When this gleaming off screen couple’s courtship took a hike to the on-screen for the first time, it established magic in the box office. So, the expectation is quite high centralizing Bajirao Mastani movie.

Well, wearing a heavy armour and dance at the same time is not a new thing for Deepika as she has put on a 30 kg of ‘ghagra’ in the film Ram Leela and shacked her leg in ‘Nagada Sang Dhol’ song. Deepika will play the role named Mastani in her upcoming flick and to make it more realistic she will be wearing 20 kg vest and do some action scene this time.

However, the sequences of the film will surely be one of the toughest shootes in her career until now as she have to perform in certain part of the movie wearing the 20 kg armour, Officials added. Deepika Padukone is also learning sword fight and has already been practising the action sequences of Bajirao Mastani to make it look more perfect, more effortless. Moreover, she will also perform some stunts and show some move of martial arts without any ‘body double’ in the movie which will need quite a drudgery and dedication of her. 

As per the film officials, Deepika will join Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh for the shooting of the film on 8th March 2012 in Rajasthan. The shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next has already begun as Priyanka Chopra is already seen doing the part of ‘Kashibai’ in the set of ‘Bajirao Mastani’. 

The movie is scheduled to release in 25th December, 2015 which will be representing the life story of Peshwa Baji Rao and the romantic tale of him with Kashibai and Mastani who are his first and second wife respectively.
