Salman Khan to Record His Statement on Hit and Run Case Today

The 13 year old Hit-and-Run case of Salman Khan is in awake once again. As the Bollywood superstar is all set to record his statement on the infamous case today at a sessions court in Mumbai. Salman Khan is accused of running his vehicle over pavement tenant and killing one person. Under the section 313 Sessions Judge D.W. Deshpande will record the actor’s statement on Hit and Run case. Salman has already been ordered to appear in court personally.

The incident was happened on September, 2002 in the late hours. This is Salman’s best chance to explain the mishap and defend himself of the case. The evidence has already been closed by the prosecution after examine approx 25 witnesses.

Things are not really going well for the ‘Bhai’ of Bollywood as Additional Sessions Judge Deshpande rejected the plea of Shrikant Shivade, lawyer of Salman for the adjournment of this process at least for three week. The actor also has to appear in Jodhpur, Rajasthan court for the arms and blackbuck case.

In 2002 at the time of this Hit and Run incident Salman was reportedly slammed a Bakery in Bandra and fled from the site after running his white Toyota Land Cruiser over sleeping people on pavement. The prosecution took 13 years to complete the submission of evidence; Salman is going into the final trial of the hit and run case from todat. The actor is also charged under Bombay Prohibition Act and Motor Vehicles Act.
