Rahasya 2015 Movie Review: Disappointment thorough and through

The Manish Gupta feature film Rahasya has hit the market today and is having continuous hitches and stitches in its way already. ‘The Aarushi murder case’ was the main inspiration behind the story but despite having a good depth in Star-Casting it has failed to impress on its first official show.
Rahasya Movie Review 2015

Rahasya Movie Review: Storyline

Ayesha Mahajan (played by Sakshi Sem), who has been murdered in her own house is the centre of the Rahasya Storyline. Her father (Ashish Vidyarthi) Sachin Mahajan has come under the spotlight of the prime suspect. CBI Chief Sunil Paraskar (of course K. K. Menon) takes the case just to discover some clues leading the case into even more blur area. Judging with his utter brilliance Sunil Paraskar solves the case proving the tragedy was caused by a double murder.

Rahasya Movie Review: Casting

K. K. Menon, Tisca Chopra, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mita Vashisht, Ashwini Kalsekar, Nimai Bali and Kunal Sharma were the main Casting behind the Rahasya.

Rahasya Movie Review: Dialogue Dyslexia

The script is good and tight at places but overall it fails to keep the audience stuck to its chair. Now the drama of a detective story gives the writer a big time relax in doing the job but the minimum effort can never be undone. The script lacked enough intensity that even a Loo call at the time of climax will not be much to regret about.

Rahasya Movie Review: Clap and Slap

Clap:

1.       Ashish Vidyarthi in the role of Dr. Mahajan does great job to take the kick in the first half. A true actor is always comfortable, even with less dialogue!!! If you know, what I mean!!
2.      Kay Kay Menon in the role of Chief Investigating Officer gives you the only thing to clap about!! He is cool, he is intelligent, he is all that, what it takes to be Prodosh Mittir!
3.      Finally a murder mystry in the threshold of Cinemas. Quite some time, ehhh??

Slap:

1.       Climax is Boorriiinnnggg!! Or should I say BOOOOOOO ing!!
2.      Tisca Chopra??? What the hell do you think were you doing?
3.      Manish Gupta, please don’t spoil such brilliant plots with your utter pathetic sense of script writing and directing!

Rahasya Movie Review: Direction, Editing and Screenplay

Manish Gupta behind the Directors geometry proved to be disgusting. In one hand he failed to bring out the talent of the actors in another hand adding unnecessary cinematic elements made the film bitter enough.

Editing and Screenplay works fine in the film. No regret there!

Director: Manish GuptaEditor: Suresh PaiCinematography: Faroukh MistryGossip-O-Pedia Ratings: 3.5/5

Last Puff:

The film Rahasya has not performed enough to justify a murder mystery. But if you are a fan of murder mystery it’s ok to a give it a shot. But no more expectation as of our suggestion!!
